WEBINAR: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

May is Mental Health Awareness, and because of European Mental Health Week we will be hosting a webinar about Mental Health.

Mental Health impacts every part of a person. Mental illness can often go undiagnosed without proper knowledge and help. Poor mental health impacts not only yourself but the relationships you have with others. Thursday 27th of May 2021 5pm-7pm, join us and participate in a special Mental Health Awareness Webinar with SAMHA RY in May.

The webinar will be an hour and a half long, and it highlights the effects of our environment, stigma, and discrimination and how these can affect our mental health. We will explore the ways in which awareness can positively impact our communities, and find answers about the importance of working through challenges together. Learn tips and tricks to communicate with someone suffering mental illness condition, and how to manage certain situations. After SAMHA’s presentation, there will be a live Q&A session where you can ask any question or raise a community issue.

Be part of the event and sign up on the form below! We would like to hear during the event what forms of mental illness you have come across in yourself, your colleagues, your clients, or your friends and what they have done or would like to do about it. Register and inform us if you would like to present a 5-minute presentation by contacting us directly via email at info@samha.fi latest by May 20th, 2021.
