About the study
Covid-19 has affected our lives in many ways, such as causing depression, anxiety and loneliness which can be linked in an increased consumption of alcohol. At the same time, alcohol use can also worsen the symptoms of depression and anxiety which paves the way for a circle of mental distress.
This survey aims to explore if Covid-19 has increased alcohol abuse. The results will be used to help with SAMHA’s future work.
What will it involve?
You will be asked to fill online a questionnaire. The questionnaire includes a range of questions about your experience with mental health. Please note that some questions asked are sensitive in nature.

Social Studies Researcher
Konstantina is an academic of Social Studies. Primarily, her research is focused on the effect of racism in the mental health of migrants. She is also involved in the topic of substance abuse on a personal and interpersonal level.
